		<description>&lt;p&gt;The beauties of mysql backups and restore -- I nuked the whole &#039;new&#039; database with the old content, hence the old post &amp; comments (as insightful as they were...) are gone. To the great big bit bucket in the sky!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;BTW -- fwiw: Dreamhost rocks. IMAP, ssh access, linux servers and a management interface that is SUPER easy to use. It was so worth the 6 odd bucks a month. Heck, my static IP costs me that on the DSL line.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;i used to run all my stuff out of my house. then i dumped DSL and went cable modem and moved everything to work. it&#039;s more fun having your own servers, but most of the time it&#039;s a PITA.&lt;/p&gt;
